Content Studio

  • We’ve got lights, 3 backdrops, photographers we can connect you too, or book the studio yourself and use the lights, and make content!

  • Independent Artists - $35/hr, $115/half day, $210 full day
    Funded Artist/Project - $45/hr, $150/half day, $275 full day
    Commercial Project - $60/hr, $200/half day, $350 full day

Podcast Studio

  • We’ve got everything you need to get your podcast going, from RODE Podmics & RODECaster Pro, it’s plug & play. Bring in your laptop or an SD card, and you’re good to go!

  • Independent Artists - $25/hr, $80/half day, $150 full day

    Funded Artist/Project - $35/hr, $115/half day, $180 full day

    Commercial Project - $50/hr, $165/half day, $300 full day

Recording Studio

  • We’ve got what you need to get a quality recording down, with the Rode NT2As, SSL 12 Mixer and a range of instruments come and have a play! We’ve got producers we can connect you to, as well!

  • Independent Artists - $35/hr, $115/half day, $210 full day

    Funded Artist/Project - $45/hr, $150/half day, $275 full day

    Commercial Project - $60/hr, $200/half day, $350 full day

Meeting/Workshop Room

  • Got a team meeting or little workshop you want to run? Think about using MoveSpace, we’ve got whiteboards, projectors, a TV, post-its, unlimited Coffee + Teas for you to use!

  • We’ve got two rooms available!
    One for 2-6 people

  • We’ve currently got 1 artist studio available with 2 permenant desks. The room is available for a team for $500/month otherwise you can grab a desk for $250/month

Content/Location Filming

  • We’ve had a number of productions, photoshoots, film out of MoveSpace! We’ve got a number of rooms and areas, that could make for great locations for your next shoot!

  • Starting from $50/hr, we primarily do costing for location filming on a case by case basis

Perform

  • Come host your gig here at MoveSpace, we’ve got a high quality backline, seating, couches + cushions for your show. We also have live sound engineers we can connect you too!

    Lounge - 30 capacity
    Rooftop - 65 capacity
    (Acoustic shows only)

  • Poetry shows are a hit here at MoveSpace, express interest for hosting your 30 person show here. Otherwise 65 on the rooftop (weather-dependent)

  • Whether it’s a magic, comedy, theatre show, we have the gear, seating, and support that can help you bring it to life!

Showcase

  • We’ve love hosting exhibitions at the space, we typically run them for 3 days, Friday Opening, Sat + Sun viewings! We start our commissions at 20% of sales, with no venue hire.

  • Host a small screening for your next film, whether it’s a cast & crew showcase for 20-25 people or public viewing.

  • Happy to work with you to exhibit your work here at the space, exhibitions typically are done over the weekend with a Friday opening, Sat + Sun viewings!

    We also have different spots across the space where an installation could be installed.

Gather

  • Come host your workshop here, with heaps of seating, kitchenware, speakers & whiteboards, whatever you’re hosting we can find a way!

    You can fit about 25 seated theatre style or 20 in a circle with chairs.

  • Bring your community to MoveSpace, typically we reserve Mon-Wed nights for community groups to use the space.

  • Get in touch with what you’d like to host, and given it’s in the realm of our kaupapa we’d be happy to see how we can make it work here!

What’s On

  • We host events, meetups, programmes, workshops, shows of all kinds, check out our Events tab for more info!

  • We occasionally run programmes based on where there is energy + needs, take a look at upcoming events or if you’re interested in learning something or putting on a programme. Let us know, and we can see what we can do!

  • The space is largely run by the support of volunteers, and is a labour of love, all the money donated to the space goes to directly supporting artists of all kinds, creating & sharing what they love with the world.

    Your monthly donation would mean the world to us, whether it’s $5, $10, $20 or more.

  • You’re welcome to donate to MoveSpace; whilst were not a registered charity, rest assured the money will go directly to supporting emerging artists create and share more of what they love with the world!
